Description

The reconstruction of the Calvary, demolished in 1966, was initiated in 2014 by the painter Ferenc Bakos, President of the Industry Council. Calvary was erected first, followed by the chapel, which symbolizes the resurrection of Jesus as the 15th station. The entire construction was directed by Ferenc Bakos, who supported the process both financially and with his work. The designer was Tibor Vörös, a certified architect, and the general contractor was György Juhász, a bricklayer. The calvary was consecrated by Archbishop Balázs Dr. Bábel
